ClayFest 2026: Clay Day in Downtown Lincoln

Lincoln Rotary is helping bring back one of Lincoln’s most unique community traditions with ClayFest 2026, a fun, family-friendly celebration that honors Lincoln’s deep roots in the clay industry — including the long history of Gladding McBean, one of Lincoln’s most well-known and iconic clay companies.

Held at Beermann Plaza on May 2, 2026, the 37th Annual ClayFest is FREE to the public and packed with hands-on creativity. Local ceramicists will transform plain clay pipes from Gladding McBean into incredible works of art, and visitors of all ages can jump into “Camp Clay,” where the goal is simple: have fun and get dirty!

If you’re looking for a wholesome community event with a true Lincoln flavor, ClayFest is the one to catch.
